Understanding the entire process of glass handling, CPH Design created a single means of protecting and handling in-flight glassware from the dishwasher on the ground  to the passenger in the cabin and back again, to the benefit of both airline and ground service provider.

A new glass holder, which resulted from CPH Design's project to improve the handling of glass in all SAS aircraft, put an end to the days of torn fingernails, broken glass and awkward handling for the cabin crew and catering staff. Understanding their processes was the key to a solution that gave a saving of 90 per cent in the purchasing of new glass holders and a halved the amount of broken glass.
