SAS

A new glass holder, which resulted from CPH Design's project to improve the handling of glass in all SAS aircraft, has put an end to the days of torn fingernails, broken glass and difficult handling for the cabin and catering staff. They themselves, were the key to a solution that gave a saving of 90 per cent in the purchasing of new glass holders and a halved the amount of broken glass.

Understanding the entire process of glass handling, CPH Design created a single means of protecting and handling in-flight glassware from the dishwasher on the ground  to the passenger in the cabin and back again, benefitting both airline and ground service provider.
