CPH Design has won the 2008 GOOD DESIGN™ Award in the Environment category for 3B Cart System as recently announced by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
3B Cart System, patented and now award winning, transports airline passengers' baggage to and from the aircraft without ever needing any manual lifting. Replacing the traditional manually loaded baggage trolleys, 3B Cart System improves airline safety, and reduces the risk of lost baggage by securely carrying bags and suitcases on automatically loaded compartments. These compartments integrate with loading and unloading at both aircraft and sorting hall to allow the world’s first ever automated aviation baggage system.
