QuickFill wins environmental award
CPH Design's product Quickfill, has won 'Klima DM', a Danish environmental award.
Christian Stadil, says on of the panel of judges: "Quickfill is a fantastic example of how the small things can be decisive for the environment of the future. It puts focus on how an everyday thing, that we rarely consider, can influence on our environmental impact and offers a simple, inexpensive solution, that could easily be applied globally."
It is dangerous to drive with the wrong tire pressure, but it is also harmful for the environment because the inefficient use of energy makes a significant contribution to the transport-related CO2 emissions (between three and five percent).
QuickFILL makes maintaining the correct pressure in the car's tires easy and convenient. A pressure regulating valve, QuickFILL releases excess pressure with an audible whistle letting you know that the tire is correctly inflated. As QuickFILL does not require a dust-cap, the user also avoids dirtying their hands.
QuickFILL is marketed by CPH Design's sister company, Smart Parts Nordic.
